Utilizing contributions from all 14 players in a two-day span, DeFelsko posted two wins in Kiwanis 8-9 soccer league action on Friday and Saturday.
In other action Heuvelton and Millers Green House scored wins while Millers and Grays Gun Shop tied.
DeFelsko 4 - Jills Dance Studio 0: Justice McIntyre tallied four goals with Seth Sampson and Campbell Lawrence picking up assists for while Elizabeth Lemke, Emma Lalone, McIntyre and Ryan Worchol shared the duties in net and strong two-way play contributions came from Orion Wood, Sloan Ryan and Nicholas Carter. For Jills Dance Studio, Maria Murray and Aaron Staie led the offense while Grace Hilbourne and Lilly Monroe acnhored the defense.
DeFelsko 3 - Dirty Gringo 2: Page Shaver and Elizaabeth Lemke turned in strong goaltending efforts while Justice McIntyre talled a hat trick with Ria Amo drawing an assist for DeFelsko. Sophia Bobb, Ryan Worchol, Cadence Payne and Ellie Foster turned in hustling efforts from the midfield position. Carson LaRose tallied two goals while Sadie ONeil, Gabrielle Morley and Cooper Garvey turned in solid performances for Dirty Gringo in a well played early season contest.
Lisbon Squads Duel: The two lisbon junior teams opened up their season with a well matched game with Grays Gun Shop winning 4 to 3.
The goals for Grays were scored by three cousins. Kamdyn Johnson, and Chase Jacobs scored one goal each and Griffin Walker scored two.
Great leadership was turned in by returning players Hayes Bouchey and Tyler Gravlin. Coach Sarah Jacobs is very impressed with the hustle of Storm Walker, Emily Jordan and Gabrielle Taylor.
Millers Green House made some real strong moves to net and the goals were scored by Jackson LaRock with two and Isaac LaRock with one. Coach Ray LaRock was impressed with Olivia McLears Defense and Natalie Kroeger in Net.Both coaches agreed that this is a very talented Lisbon group and are looking forward to seeing them grow in years to come.
Heuvelton 2 - DeFelsko 1: Brayden Amo scored the lone DeFelsko goal and Julian Rufa and Blake Amo plaued well in goal stopping 10 shots. Chloe Combs and Joan Steele scored for Heuvelton and Tanner Armstrong stopped eight shots in goal.
Millers over Jills Dance: Jordan Saywer, Jaiden Carr, Erica Snyder and Grace Richardson, Jackson LaRock and Issac LaRock led Millers offense while Cinthia Snyder, Natalie Kroeger and Cale Richards paced the defense.
Jillian LeBell scored for Julies Dance from Calvin Glover and Meagn Reed and Ryliegh Leader supplied strong midfield play.
