PIERREPONT – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies charged Rian C. Hill, 51, of 34 County Route 48A, Norwood, with driving while intoxicated, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right following a one-vehicle personal injury accident Friday on County Route 24 in the town of Pierrepont. Deputies said Mr. Hill’s vehicle went off the left side of the roadway on a curve and overturned four times before coming to rest in the middle of a roadway. He was taken by Colton Rescue to Canton-Potsdam Hospital for complaints of arm and internal injuries. Also responding to the scene was Pierrepont Fire and First Responders. His blood alcohol content was not available.
