MASSENA – Massena Village Police charged Joseph R. McMahon, 21, of 29 Elm St., Apt. 2, Massena, with second-degree criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child at 5:59 p.m. Friday at his residence. Police said he was charged following an argument with his girlfriend in which he grabbed a child out of her arms and violated a no harassment order of protection. Mr. McMahon was arraigned by Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and released on $100 cash bail.
