STAR LAKE The town of Fine will have a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the municipal office for a budget workshop and to accept several resignations.
The Town Council is expected to accept the resignation of Highway Superintendent Roger S. Folsom, but it will likely turn around and reappoint him until the November 2013 election. Mr. Folsoms resignation is for state retirement purposes, said Fine Supervisor Mark C. Hall.
The board will also accept the resignation of Elizabeth Cooper as community development coordinator.
The council will also consider taking over as lead agency from the town of Clifton for a 2009 Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan grant. Clifton is still waiting for reimbursement from a previous grant.
