MADRID – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies charged Jeremy J. Monroe, 30, of 841 County Route 38, Norfolk, with issuing a bad check Sunday after receiving a complaint from Wayne’s Gas and Service in the town of Madrid. Mr. Monroe allegedly issued a check to the business in May 2012 with insufficient funds in his account. He was released to appear at a later date in Madrid Town Court.
