ALBANY This month, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo wants to celebrate principals throughout the state.
He declared October as Principals Month on Monday. The U.S. Senate and House of Representatives already recognize the month as National Principals Month, according to a released statement by the states School Administrators Association.
New York State Principals Month is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the great things principals do each and every day for students, teachers and community, according to the statement.
