CANTON - Jury selection in St. Lawrence County Court was completed Wednesday in the trial of an Ogdensburg man accused of kicking a woman in the head and body.
Nathan G. Rapin, 35, of 910 Knox St., Ogdensburg, faces second-degree assault, a Class D felony, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment, a class A misdemeanor, charges.
Mr. Rapin allegedly kicked Tammy J. Bush, 38, also of 910 Knox St., in the head and torso on June 12, 2011 and restricted her movements. He pleaded not guilty to the charges Sept. 8.
Mr. Rapin is being defended by attorney Frank Melllace, Rome. Assistant District Attorney James L. Monroe is prosecuting.
Jurors were directed to report back to the court house at 9:45 a.m. today.
