MADRID - Tyler Robinson produced three assists and David Odendahl scored a goal and drew an assist to lead the Madrid-Waddington Junior Varsity Soccer team past Malone 5-1 on Wednesday.

John Lenny scored from Tyler Fobare and Josh Reed and Michael Thew each connected once in the win where Luke Miller made several solid saves.

BOYS SOCCER

Colton-Pierrepont 4, St. Regis Falls 2: Andrew Holden (1 goal, 1 assist) scored the game winning goal for the Colts who battled back from a 2-0 deficit.

Gyle dominy and Jon Porter also scored for the winners. Caleb Green and Brandon Votra scored for SRF.

VOLLEYBALL

Canton 3, Tupper Lake 0: The Bears swept the Lumberjacks 25-22, 25-19, 26-24 in varsity play led by Rachel Sanderson’s nine assists and sevene kills. Tara Facey added 14 points, five aces, seven assists and four kills while Beth Pearson chipped in two points, two aces and five kills and Sara Olin added four assists and three digs. In Junior Varsity play, Canton swept Tupper Lake 33-31, 25-16, 25-16 as Caitlyn Wright (four kills, three aces), Angelina Vechio (5 points, 2 aces) and Lindsey Flanagen (5 points, 2 aces) led the way.

Massena 3, Gouverneur 0: The Raiders (8-2) swept the Wildcats 25-10, 25-10, 25-8. Crystal Rand had 15 points, five aces, and two kills for Massena while Syndey Thompson added 15 points and three kills. Ashley Kelsey had 20 sets and four points for 2-8 Gouverneur.
