A warehouse expansion project planned by Watertown manufacturer North American Tapes will be partly funded by a $200,000 loan approved Thursday by the Jefferson County Industrial Development Agency’s board of directors.

The warehouse, located on Fisher Road in the Jefferson County Industrial Park, plans to add 12 employees to its staff of 19 over three years at the retrofitted facility. The 19,200-square-foot expansion will include a shipping area and converter room for manufacturing special tapes.

The project’s total cost is $1,488,000.
