MASSENA - The New York State Police in Massena are requesting assistance from the public with an investigation of a construction site theft that occurred from a residence on County Route 42A in the town of Massena.

The theft occurred between the evening of Oct. 3 and morning of Oct. 4. A significant amount of tools and equipment were stolen from the site.

The tools are comprised of mostly assorted home construction tools, including but not limited to a generator, table saws, electric tools and air compressors. Among the stolen items are tools with brand names such as Bostich, Porter Cable, Honeywell and Dewalt.
