An Ogdensburg man is facing drugs and weapons charges after police executed a search warrant at his home Wednesday.
Members of the Ogdensburg Police and the St. Lawrence County Sheriffs Department Drug Task Force arrested Vincent A. Pratt, 49, of 715 Lake St., Ogdensburg, Wednesday at 11:10 p.m. Police said they recovered several rifles, shotguns, a muzzleloader and a sawed-off .410 caliber shotgun with a modified barrel and stock.
A marijuana plant was also found at the residence, police said. Mr. Pratt was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon for possessing the sawed-off shotgun, six counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and unlicensed growing of marijuana.
Police said Mr. Pratt is a convicted felon and is therefore not allowed to possess firearms.
He was arraigned in city court and sent to county jail, Canton, on $5,000 bail.
