City police charged Grant A. Rogers, 47, of 714 Sherman St., Apt. 3, with an unspecified violation of parole.

Arrested at 9:30 a.m. Friday on the 300 block of Academy St., he was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department pending a future parole hearing.
