ROSSIE - Gouverneur-based state police charged Kanawakeron Swamp, 48, of Cornwall Island, Ont., and Jody E. Swamp, 17, of Akwesasne with unlawful possession of untaxed cigarettes following a traffic stop at 7 p.m. Thursday on state Route 37 in the town of Rossie.
