CARTHAGE — Mackenzie Kidder scored the eventual game-winner goal on a header off a crossing pass from Kayla Gonzalez as Carthage defeated Copenhagen 3-0 in a Frontier League crossover girls soccer game Monday.

Goalkeeper Haley Ryan made 10 saves to record the shutout for Carthage (6-4-2 overall).

Mia Darroch and Bryanna Gagnon each scored a goal for the Comets, in a game which didn’t count in the league standings.

Lindsey Fitzpatrick made eight saves for the Golden Knights (9-3-1).
