COPENHAGEN — The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the owners of two bicycles recovered Wednesday in Copenhagen that may have been stolen in the Watertown area.

The bicycles are the same make and model, and one has “CHON” scratched on it.

Deputies believe they may have been stolen Tuesday night from the vicinity of the Children’s Home of Jefferson County on State Street in Watertown.

Anyone who thinks they may own the bicycles and can describe them in more detail is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 376-3511 and ask for Deputy Raymond Ortlieb or Deputy Cory Paczkowski.
