Clyde R. Thomas III, 21, of 923 Franklin St., was arrested at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday by Ogdensburg police on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear for probation.

He was arraigned by Judge William R. Small and held on $250 cash bail.

He was transported to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, city police said.

City police are investigating the discovery of four $10 bills in a drive-by mailbox on Spinner Street by the post office on State Street.

Four $10 bills were found there last week as well, police said.
