The League of Women Voters has posted guides to the races that are taking place in St. Lawrence County.

With Albany's gerrymandering of the Big County, there's plenty to peruse.

Here's the guide for federal office, which includes the Senate race between Democratic Sen. Kirsten GIllibrand and Republican Wendy Long.

Here's the guide to the three Senate races that are taking place in St. Lawrence County. State Sens. Joe Griffo, R-Rome, and Betty Little, R-Queensbury, did not respond, but state Sen. Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, and Democrat Amy Tresidder, her Nov. 6 opponent, did.

And here are the four — count 'em, four — Assembly races in the north country. Only two are contested: Assemblywoman Janet Duprey, R-Peru, vs. Conservative Party candidate Karen Bisso and Democrat Tim Carpenter; and Assemblyman Marc Butler, R-Newport, vs. Democrat Joe Chilelli of Herkimer.
