■ BROWNVILLE — The village will hold its fall cleanup Saturday.

■ MARTINSBURG — The Town Council will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the town office on Cemetery Road to work on the 2013 budget and discuss fire contracts and any other matters that may come before the board.

■ CARTHAGE — The Carthage/Wilna Fire District will have a public hearing on its proposed budget at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the fire station, 685 S. James St. The proposed 2013 budget is $527,670, which is up 2.86 percent, or $14,655 from this year’s spending plan.
