DeFelsko’s, Julie’s win in Kiwanis Soccer

DeFelsko’s and Julie’s Dance Studio split a pair of well-played games in Recent Kiwanis Youth Soccer action.

DeFelsko’s 3, Julie’s Dance Studio 2: In a well played game by both teams, Julie’s Dance Studio opened up a 2-0 halftime lead before DeFelsko netted three second half goals then held off a stern JDS effort for the equalizer. Justice McIntyre tallied a hat trick with Orion Wood. Sloan Ryan and Nicholas Carter turning in stellar two-way play. Ria Amo, Paige Shaver, Ryan Warchol and Elizabeth Lemke shared the net minding duties which included Lemke swatting aside a potential game tying goal in the final seconds.

For Julie’s Dance Studio, Brinley Fredericks and Holden Woods found the back of the net with offensive leadership provided by Tristin Simmons, Nick McRoberts and Evan Felt while Grace Wills and Paige Merz anchored the defensive play.

Julie’s Dance Studio 2, DeFelsko 0: Julie’s Dance Studio broke a 0-0 deadlock with a pair of fourth period goals by Evan Felt and Nick McRoberts while Holden Woods and Ramie Blackmer added to the offense and Paige Merz and Logan Horton contributed strong two-way play.

Seth Sampson, Nicholas Carter and Sophia Bobb sparked the DeFelsko offensive attack with Cadance Payne and Sloan Ryan anchoring the defensive end.

Elizabeth Lemke, Justice McIntyre and Ryan Warchol shared the netminding duties for DeFelsko.

DeFelsko 1 - Murray’s Flooring 1: Matt Basford tallied a goal for Murray’s Flooring with Bryson Murray and Kelsey Sias turning in strong two-way play while Jacob Martin anchored the defensive end.

For DeFelsko, Justice McIntyre tallied a goal with Sloan Ryan and Ellie Foster turning in strong defensive efforts while Ria Amo and Emma Lalone led the offensive efforts. Amo, McIntyre, Elizabeth Lemke and Ryan Warchol shared the netminding duties for DeFelsko.

DeFelsko 10-12YR 4, Woodcrest 0: Cooper Hunter, Julian Rufa, Connor Smith and Blake Amo all scored one goal for DeFelsko’s.
