CANTON — St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies are looking for the public’s assistance in the investigation of the theft of two tree stands from private property on Cowan Road.

Deputies said they were Ameristep platform tree stands with 15-foot gray ladders.

Anyone with information on the theft or the whereabouts of the tree stands is asked to call them at 379-2222.
