AGGRAVATED DWI - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Warren W. Lavalley, 36, of Winthrop with aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for a stop sign violation following an incident at 10:14 p.m. Saturday in the town of Stockholm. He was placed under arrest 20 minutes later at 80 McCarthy Road in the town of Brasher.

DWI - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged John M. Perry with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for speeding Saturday following an investigation into a personal injury accident that took place at 2:44 a.m. Sept. 26 in the town of Lawrence.

HYPODERMIC INSTRUMENT - MASSENA - Two Massena women were charged by Masena-based state police with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument following a traffic stop at 5:10 p.m. Friday on East Orvis Street.

Troopers charged Karie A. Perry, 21, and Melinda S. Branham, 25, each with one count of the charge. Ms. Branham, who was driving the vehicle, also was cited with unlicensed operation, speeding and criminal possession of marijuana.

Both women were released on appearance tickets.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - PLATTSBURGH - Plattsburgh-based state police charged Dennis J. Ames, 29, of Madrid with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop Tuesday on Plaza Boulevard in the town of Plattsburgh.

THREE-VEHICLE COLLISION - NORWOOD - Canton-based state police investigated a three-vehicle collision on South Main Street near Bicknell Street at 10:18 a.m. Saturday on Norwood. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Dahl R. McCormick, 73, of Hannawa Falls; Frank A. Lindley, 51, of Potsdam; and Catherine E. Hayes, 60, of Potsdam.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - BOMBAY - Malone-based state police said Dondi C. Craft, 56, of Brasher Galls was involved in a one-vehicle accident at 12:38 p.m. on County Route 4, near the Jess Croker Road, in the town of Bombay.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - CONSTABLE - Malone-based state police said Steven J. Mitchell, 24, of Moira was involved in a one-vehicle collision at 11_45 p.m. Friday on Powers Road, near County Route 28, in the town of Constable.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police investigated a one-vehicle collision at 8:42 a.m. Friday on County Route 35, near Collins Road, in the town of Potsdam. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Zachary M. Reed, 28, of Norwood.
