Jonathan T. Finn, 21, of 202 Chestnut St., was charged by city police Saturday afternoon at his residence with third-degree assault. Police said he repeatedly struck and kicked Anthony G. Sparks, causing a gash to his forehead and also causing him to lose consciousness, during an incident Oct. 4 at Mick’s Place, 204 Factory St.

He was ordered to appear in City Court. Two other men, Anthony M. Moss, 22, of 812 Rutland Place, and Aaron R. Lolar, 27, of 926 Remington St., were charged previously with third-degree assault in connection with the same incident.
