Craig Conroy's big weekend began today as he toured Cheel Arena with dignitaries like Dave Taylor and his father Mike.
Conroy, a Potsdam native, is being inducted into Clarkson's Athletic Hall of Fame tomorrow afternoon and before tomorrow night's game against Holy Cross he will have his No. 7 jersey officially retired and hung in the rafters of Cheel Arena.
Conroy played at Clarkson from 1990-94 and scored 63 goals with 104 assists in 140 career games. He played over 1,000 games in the National Hockey League and was a member of the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames. Conroy now works for the Flames organization.
Here are some interviews from this afternoon at Cheel Arena.
