Funeral services for Chester Walters, age 56, of Morristown, NY will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Seymour officiating. Burial will be in Edwardsville Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Chester Walters passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 in a motor vehicle accident.

Mr. Walters is survived by his wife, Grace; his mother, Florence Walters, of Bayside, NY; his sister, Patricia L. Burbano and her husband, Carlos; and his godson and nephew, Patrick Burbano. He is predeceased by his father, Chester S. Walters.

Mr. Walters was born on August 10, 1956 in Queens, New York, the son of Chester and Florence Kramer Walters. He attended Martin Luther High School in Bayside, NY. Chester earned an Associate Degree in Horticulture from State University of Farmingdale. He owned his own landscaping business for many years in Queens, NY. He later went to work for Reiger Builders. In 2008, Mr. Walters retired from the Casper Country Club where he worked as a horticulturalist. Mr. Walters also owned and operated Walters Cabins on Black Lake.

He married Grace Panessa on March 7, 2009 in Fishkill, NY. He was a good husband, a good brother, and a good son. Mr. Walters also did knife sharpening. He was recently working on his new greenhouse at his home.
