Authorized the chair to sign a contract to accept a 2012 state Homeland Security Program grant from the state Office of Homeland Security and modified the 2012 Office of Emergency Services budget.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract to accept a 2012 Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program grant from the state Office of Homeland Security and modified the 2012 Sheriff’s Office budget.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract to accept a 2012 Domestic Violence Training Law Enforcement grant from the state Division of Criminal Justice Services and modified the 2012 Sheriff’s Office budget.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract to accept a 2012 Byrne Jag grant from the state of New York Division of Criminal Justice Services and modified the 2012 Sheriff’s Office budget.

Reappointed Jennie H. Bacon as the Democratic Election Commissioner for a four-year term to begin Jan. 1.

Requested Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to formulate a strategic dairy industry plan for the state of New York by forming a committee of representatives of dairy farmers, dairy cooperatives, and dairy manufacturers to develop a straightforward strategic plan to grow the dairy industry in New York State in a way that benefits both farmers and manufacturers.

Adopted a local law that reapportions the county’s 15 legislative districts.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract for the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program grant for the Public Health Department.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract for the Public Health Department’s Integrated Cancer Services program.

Abolished and created positions for the 2012 budget within the Department of Social Services.

Modified the Workforce Investment Act budget for the Department of Social Services.

Authorized the chair to sign a bailment agreement between the Department of Social Services and the state Office of Children and Family Services.

Approved the issuance of tax-exempt revenue bonds by the county Industrial Development Agency Civic Development Corp. for St. Lawrence University.

Modified the 2012 Treasurer’s budget for the payment of services provided for issuing revenue anticipation note.

Adopted mortgage tax report.

Proposed a local law prohibiting outdoor use of tobacco products on real property owned or leased by the county.

Declared its intent to accept the final Generic Environmental Impact Statement and recreational trails management plan for the county-wide multi-use recreational trail system.

Authorized the Department of Highways to coordinate and assist the town of Fowler regarding rehabilitation of the Emeryville Road bridge over power canal.

Modified the 2012 county attorney’s budget for expenses related to contracts with the Wladis Law Firm.

Modified the 2012 county administrator’s budget for expenses related to contracts with the Wladis Law Firm.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract amendment with the county Industrial Development Agency to provide economic development services.

Supported the proposed remedial action plan for the Grasse River by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
