POTSDAM – Jonathan LaValley, 22, of Ogdensburg was charged with petit larceny by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies Tuesday.

Mr. LaValley allegedly attempted to shoplift $104 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart in Potsdam.

He is scheduled to appear in Potsdam Town Court.
