POTSDAM The Potsdam Public Library will get a new set of steps next spring to replace the cracking steps that lead to the front entrance.
Village officials have been looking to replace the steps since last spring. Installing the replacements will cost about $30,000, half of which will be covered by a state grant.
The concrete steps will be precast this winter and stored at the Department of Public Works until construction begins in the spring.
