Phyllis J. Christman, 58, of Ogdensburg, died, November 12, 2012, Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg, entrusted with arrangements. Calling hours will be November 20, 2012, 12:30 – 2:30 PM, with the memorial service following, Reverend Father James Shurtleff officiating. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Dale, sons, Michael Christman (fiancé Jennifer Eggleson), Scott (Amanda) Christman, daughters, Melinda (Robert) Ellard, Sara Christman (fiancé Rusty Stowell), all of Ogdensburg, brothers, Joseph (Marlene) Tynon, CA, Terry (Kathy) Tynon, NC, Phillip Tynon, Ogdensburg, Pete Finley, ID, Ron (Alinda) Valcour, Brockville, Ontario, sisters, Sharon (Richard) Downey, NC, Sandra (James) Bouchey, Ogdensburg, Cheryl Finley, CA, Sally Engelbert, CA, Audrey (Jack) VanDusen, Brockville, Ontario, Eunice Tynon, Helen Pratt both of Ogdensburg, grandchildren, Austin and Aryan Eggleson, Caleb and Dawson Christman, Dominic Griffin Christman, Madison Christman, Isaac and Colby Bjork, several nieces and nephew, and special friend Bonita Chevrier. She was predeceased by a son Jason Christman, brothers, Gordon and Doug Valcour, sisters, Diane VanDusen, Elaine Valcour and Ellen Finley, granddaughters, Amealea and Alexys Ellard. Phyllis was born on September 28, 1954 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Joseph and Laura Thivierge Tynon. She married Dale Christman, November 11, 1972 at Notre Dame Church.
