MACOMB – Ronald L. Cardinell, 60, of 2120 County Route 10, was charged with assault by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies Tuesday after allegedly punching a 50-year-old Macomb town councilman.

Mr. Cardinell punched the councilman in the left shoulder, causing bruising.

He is scheduled to appear in Macomb Town Court.
