AGGRAVATED DWI - WINTHROP - St. Lawrence County Sheriff s Department deputies charged Scott E. Sweeney, 41, of Buckton Road, Winthrop, with aggravated driving while intoxicated after he was involved in a personal injury accident Thursday on Route 11 in the town` of Stockholm. Deputies said Sweeney was also ticketed for failure to keep right. He sustained minor injuries in the accident, according to police. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.21 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent threshold for a driving while intoxicated charge. Driving while intoxicated is elevated to an aggravated DWI count when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.
