State Sen. Patricia A. Ritchie is hosting a food-collection drive for victims of Superstorm Sandy. Items such as canned goods, bottled water and toiletries can be dropped off at the Dulles State Office Building; the basement of 330 Ford St., Ogdensburg, and the first floor of 46 E. Bridge St., Oswego.

Donations will be accepted through Dec. 1.

Donations will be distributed to Island Harvest, described as one of the affected region’s largest hunger-relief organizations.
