AGGRAVATED DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged John W. Holmes, 21, of Massena with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 2:37 a.m. Sunday on Perkins Road in the village of Massena. He also was charged with having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle on a public highway and was ticketed for speed in zone. A DWI charge is elevated to aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Dana R. Ruckdeschel, 20, of Petersburg with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for a license plate violation following a traffic stop at 4 p.m. Saturday on O’Neil Road in the town of Massena.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Valerie R. Jackson, 17, of Hogansburg with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:05 a.m. Saturday following a secondary inspection at the U.S. port of entry. She was a passenger in a vehicle being operated by Hank Delisle, 20, of Fort Covington. Delisle was charged with driving while intoxicated.



AGGRAVATED DWI - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged Michael J. Villnave, 46, of Winthrop with aggravated driving while intoxicated following an incident at 12:14 a.m. Sunday on Patterson Road in the town of Moira.



TWO INJURED - CANTON - Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:34 a.m. Saturday on state Route 310, near the Morley-Potsdam Road, in the town of Canton. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Jennifer P. Houston, 39, of Colton.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - State police from around the region investigated several property damage accidents Saturday. Among those were:

■ Kevin R. Thompson, 46, of Winthrop at 6:44 p.m. on state Route 11, near Elmer Road, in the town of Moira.

■ Kirk A. Severtson, 36, of Potsdam at 5:18 p.m. on state County Route 56, near Green Road, in the town of Hopkinton.

■ Devin T. Matthie, 21, of St. Regis Falls at 4:16 p.m. on state Route 458, near the Days Mill Road, in the town of Hopkinton.
