Derrick Williams supplied 18 points and three steals as Jefferson Community College defeated Gloucester County College 57-52 Saturday in the consolation game of the 31st annual Turkey Hoopshoot Tournament hosted by County College of Morris in Randolph, N.J.
JCC went on a scoring run after trailing 28-20 at halftime and 39-22 with 12 minutes remaining. Ryan Tomlin connected on a key 3-pointer with 2:01 left on the clock to put the Cannoneers ahead 51-50.
Tomlin, who was named to the all-tournament team, finished with 12 points and three steals for Jefferson Community College (4-3).
Orlando Hidalgo provided 15 points and six rebounds, and Eric Taylor scored 10 points for Gloucester CC (1-3).

Annie Esposito paced the host Titans with 16 points as they rallied past the Cannoneers in the first round Morris Tournament in Randolph, N.J.
Aly Oostdyk chipped in 14 points for County College of Morris (1-0), which faces Orange Community College in the championship today.
Jasmine Canady led Jefferson Community College (1-4) with 20 points. JCC will face Gloucester County College in the third place game today at noon.
