CANTON - Crafts, baked goods, health screenings and more will be featured at the annual Holly Berry Bazaar sponsored by E.J. Noble Guild of Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 1 at St. Mary’s School gymnasium, 2 Powers St.

The bazaar will also feature a raffle, a children’s craft table, a luncheon and free health screenings from Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam.

Last year, pies became the featured item on the sweets table and more than 50 pies were sold.

Glass pie plates were donated by Lynn Whittier and Cheryl Glidden. Besides pies,there will also be cookies, fudge, cakes and other sweet delectables.

Not only will chili and homemade dinner rolls be on the menu for lunch, but homemade cinnamon rolls will be baked on site that morning.

Free health screenings will include bone density, blood pressure and sleep apnea. Blood glucose monitoring, diabetes information and a staff member from the hospital’s physical therapy department will be available.

The raffle prizes include a $300 gift card from Price Chopper, $100 Canton Currency from Key Bank, a fruit bowl designed and made by Roxanne Locy, $100 gift certificate from the Computer Guys, two St. Lawrence University season hockey tickets for 2013-2014. Snell’s Garage donated two oil changes and a $50 gas certificate.

Karen O’Brien will be selling Arbonne products and all sales will be donated to the guild. A Canton Central High School choral group under the direction of Kimberly Bush will sing Christmas songs and carols. Bonnie Moore is in charge of the white elephant sale which will be in the school hallway.
