ADAMS Nobody was injured just after noon Thursday when a vehicle slammed into the front of the Dollar General store at 10757 Route 11, according to state police.
The driver and owner of the car, Michael A. Cisco, 53, of 18156 Jefferson Court, Adams Center, told police the brake pedal of his vehicle failed, going completely to the floor, when he attempted to park in front of the store. While crashing into the store, he placed the autos gear in park to get it stopped, police said.
There was no indication Friday if any charge was filed.
The accident forced the closing of the store, which was reopened for business Friday.
