HAMMOND - The Hammond Central School student body began their Thanksgiving festivities and got into the spirit of sharing early last Tuesday with a Turkey Shootout.
Current Red Devil basketball players and future marksmen-ladies also got a chance to show how they valued good foul shooting in the contest where the top girl and boy shooters in each class won a turkey.
Some of the shooters donated their turkeys back to aid other families.
