MASSENA – Mrs. Linda L. Wilson, 69, of 151 Andrews Street, unexpectedly passed away Saturday morning, November 24, 2012 at her home. She had been in failing health for the past several years.
Linda was born October 28, 1943 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of the late Orville and Claire Parker Miller. She attended school at St. Marys Academy in Ogdensburg. She married Robert H. Whitey Wilson on September 1, 2001 in Brasher Falls with Justice Jerry Mahoney, officiating.
Linda was a homemaker, who always wanted to help people. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, playing Yahtzee, cards, and loved angels. She was a woman with a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
She is survived by her husband, Whitey; her sons, Phillip and Glenn and Herbie LeBlanc, all of Georgia; her daughter, Mary D. Swick, of Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her husbands children, Bobbilynn Mitchell, Debbie Arel, Lori and Nancy Wilson, all of New York, his 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition, she is survived by her mother, Claire Miller of Ogdensburg; her sisters, Judy and Gil Bishop of Ogdensburg and Patricia Beneshuck of Florida; her brothers, Orville Buddy Miller, Glenn and Vickie Miller, and John Miller, all of Ogdenburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Chester Goodale (LaBaff) on August 5, 1983.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Wednesday 3:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, Massena, with Deacon Thomas Proulx, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Childrens Home or a charity of ones choice.
