Two men have been charged in unrelated investigations with making death threats against women.
Frank W. Jones, 48, of 22691 Hax Road, LaFargeville, was charged by state police Monday with aggravated harassment and is ordered to appear in town of Orleans Court.
Police said his neighbor, Rose Ayen, 47, of 22693 Hax Road, alleged that he threatened her life, telling her she would end up in the morgue.
Claude R. Buckmiller, 50, of 23 Crossmon St., Apt. C, Alexandria Bay, also faces an aggravated harassment charge lodged Nov. 18 by the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department. On that morning, he allegedly telephoned Rhonda A. Slate, 46, Alexandria Bay, and told her he was going to put a bullet in her head, according to the sheriffs office.
He is summoned for arraignment in Alexandria Bay Village Court.
