Elisabeth H. Pechey, 45, of 271 County Route 1, Hammond, was charged Tuesday night by Watertown police with issuing a bad check and is summoned to City Court.

She is accused of bouncing a check for $98.51 on Sept. 8 at Herb Philipson’s Army and Navy Store, 1283 Arsenal St., according to police.
