MARTINSBURG — Tyler Lashbrook, 22, and Daniel Eckelman, 20, both of Lowville, were charged Tuesday with third-degree burglary.

The Lewis County sheriff’s office alleges the two entered a garage on Centerville Road on or about Nov. 7, and while inside the garage stole three racing gas jugs.

The stolen property was recovered at Mr. Eckelman’s residence, according to the sheriff’s office.

Both Mr. Lashbrook and Mr. Eckelman were arraigned in Lowville Town Court, where Mr. Eckelman was released to appear at a later date. Mr. Lashbrook was sent to the Lewis County jail, Lowville, on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
