Students who want to use winter break to take earn college credits may now register for Jefferson Community Colleges Winterim.
Approximately 25 online classes begin Dec. 26; eight on-campus classes begin Jan. 2. Courses are three weeks long.
For many college students, winter break is an ideal time to work ahead shortening their time to graduation, complete a prerequisite or take a general education course that will transfer to their home school, according to a released statement.
Two ceramics courses and Introduction to Sociology will also be offered in the evening from Jan. 2 to 18.
JCC students may register online at http://www.sunyjefferson.edu. Those who are not students should contact the advising, career and transfer center at 786-2271.
