Contract renewals, awards and airport improvements are on the agenda for committee meetings Tuesday night at the Jefferson County Historic Courthouse.
The Board of Legislators Health and Human Services Committee will consider agreements with organizations that provide health care services, including physical therapy, respiratory therapy and language interpreter services.
The meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m. with a presentation of Public Health Works Honor Roll Awards to county employees Laurie L. Woodward and Ann M. Jenner from the state Department of Health.
At 7 p.m., the boards Finance and Rules Committee will meet to mull several items related to the 2012 and 2013 budgets. Three motions pertaining to the Watertown International Airport will be discussed, including a resolution to construct a 14,000-square-foot hangar with office space. Money for the project will come from an Empire State Development Grant.
