SACKETS HARBOR Zach Rosseau tied the game with 30 seconds left as the Sackets Harbor boys basketball team rallied from a double-digit deficit to defeat Copenhagen 58-55 in overtime in a Frontier League D Division game Monday.
Rosseau led the Patriots (3-0) with 21 points, six assists and six steals. Josh Keruski added 14 points.
Antonio Figueroa paced the Golden Knights (1-2) with 19 points. Greg Kunert collected 16 points.
MALONE 55, POTSDAM 35
Jon Dunlavey scored 15 points and Mitchell Gallagher followed with 11 to lead Malone to its first win over Potsdam in more than a decade in an Northern Athletic Conference Central Division game in Malone.
Harvey Smith contributed eight points and four steals for Malone (1-0).
Konnor Bigwarfe led Potsdam (0-1) with 11 points as big man Shawn Clark was limited to just six points. Two of Clarks three buckets came on breakaway dunks.
CANTON 65, SALMON RIVER 38
The Golden Bears jumped out to a 20-4 lead after the first quarter and never looked back in picking up a NAC win over the Shamrocks in their season opener.
Nick Archabald and Brian Wentworth both scored 14 points as Charles Ames and Evan Lapoint added 12 and 10 points, respectively, for Canton.
Josh Hynes led Salmon River (1-2, 0-1) with 16 points.
OFA 93, GOUVERNEUR 38
Breton LaRose scored 19 points and the Blue Devils raced out to a 31-4 lead by the end of the first quarter en route to notching their third win in four days.
Matt Piercey added 18 points for OFA (3-0, 1-0), while Tyler Knowlton provided 11 and Cavan LaRose added 10.
We had a very good team effort, 26 assists means we passed the ball well and found the open man. I thought we ran the floor better than we did this weekend, said OFA coach Mark Henry, whose team faces Malone in an big early season Central Division clash.
We need to focus on taking care of the ball and the little things as we prepare for Malone on Friday which will be a big test.
Mark Horne paced Gouverneur (0-1) with eight points.
LISBON 78, CLIFTON-FINE 14
Swingman Jake Putney delivered a 21-point performance for the Golden Knights in their season-opening NAC West Division win over the visiting Eagles.
Adam Felt fired in five threes in an 18-point outing while Jimmy Robinson added 17 for Lisbon (1-0).
Chase Foster scored six for Clifton-Fine (0-3, 0-1).
HEUVELTON 73, HERMON-DEKALB 55
Mike Guardino scored 13 points in a pivotal third quarter to finish with 23 points as the Bulldogs gained a season-opening victory over the Demons.
Dedrick Johnson tallied 23 points while Cody Holland added 12 for Heuvelton (1-0).
Cody Merrick generated 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Hermon-DeKalb (0-1).
HAMMOND 42, MORRISTOWN 30
Nolan Martin generated 11 points for the Red Devils in their NAC victory over the Green Rockets at Hammond.
Ryan Proven added nine points while Payton Frisina chipped in eight for Hammond (1-1, 1-0).
Dakota Marshall scored 10 for Morristown (0-1).
EDWARDS-KNOX 57, HARRISVILLE 49
Tyler Tresidder scored 14 points to power the Cougars past the Pirates in an NAC West Division game in Edwards. It was the season opener for both teams.
Kaden Dandrow scored 12 points, while Jessie Bulliock and Chris Davison added 10 points apiece for Edwards-Knox.
Joey Butts scored 14 points, Nick Weir netted 13 and Nate Weaver added 10 for Harrisville.
APW 53, WATERTOWN 49
Kylee Bartlett led the Rebels with 20 points, six rebounds and five steals as they claimed a Frontier League crossover victory against the Cyclones at Case Middle School.
Katie Palmer and Alexis Stevens added nine points apiece for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (2-1).
Katie Aldrich scored a game-high 21 points for Watertown (0-2). She accounted for half of the teams made field goals.
MASSENA 57, ST. LAWRENCE 46
Alisha Jacobs scored 16 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists to anchor the Red Raiders in their Northern Athletic Conference interdivision victory over the Larries in the season opener for both teams.
Sydney Thompson tallied 15 points, six rebounds and two steals, while Marissa Manley added 14 points and 12 rebounds for Massena.
Breanna Vatter fired through a game-high 22 points, including four 3-pointers, to pace St. Lawrence.
IHC 6, ONTARIO BAY 4
Justin Trudeau and Jason Reape each scored a pair of goals as the Cavaliers beat the Storm in a Section 3 Division I East game at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
Jake Renzi dished out three assists for Immaculate Heart Central (1-0).
Ben Markle notched a hat trick for Ontario Bay (0-2, 0-1).

Lucas Arquiett scored two goals to lead the Larries to a season-opening nonleague victory at the Tri-Town Arena.
Nate McLaughlin stopped 22 shots for St. Lawrence, which will begin NAC Division II play on Monday.

Claire Sauter handed out 19 assists and had two aces as the Comets held off the Cyclones 25-23, 25-17, 16-25, 27-29, 25-16 for an A Division win in Carthage.
Courtney Cunningham tallied eight kills and six aces for Carthage (2-0). Cassie Birth had eight kills and three aces for Watertown (1-2, 1-3).

Kylie Hanni powered the Comets with eight kills, six blocks and six digs as they swept the Vikings 25-19, 25-23, 25-17 in C Division play at Sandy Creek.
Viki White generated 13 assists, four aces and two kills for Sandy Creek (3-0). Michaela Martin added seven kills, five digs and three aces for Thousand Islands (0-3).

Megan Hanson collected 15 service points and 11 digs as the Spartans beat the Blue Devils 25-15, 25-11, 25-11 in a nonleague match at Camden.
