POTSDAM — Two freshmen finished with a double-double to power the Clarkson University women’s basketball team to a 65-43 victory over Cazenovia on Monday at Alumni Gymnasium.

Isabella Esposito finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds while Ashley Loggins added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Golden Knights (2-4).

Sophomore Brooke Butkovsky provided 11 points, eight rebounds, four blocked shots and four steals for Clarkson, idle now until after Christmas.

Megan McDermott posted game-highs with 18 points and 13 rebounds for Cazenovia (0-7).
