GOUVERNEUR — A sex offender moved without registering his address as required under state corrections law, St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies said.

George H. Neuroth, 53, of 1404 County Route 12, was arrested Tuesday and charged with failing to register his new address with the state within 10 days, a class E felony.

He was arraigned before Canton Town Justice Cathleen E. O’Horo and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, without bail. He is to appear in court at a later date.
