Authorized the chair to sign contracts for personal care aide and home health aide services for the long-term home health care and certified home health agency program in the Public Health Department.

Authorized the chair to sign contracts with St. Joseph’s Nursing Home and Clifton-Fine Hospital for respite bed services for the long-term home health care program in the Public Health Department.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract for the early intervention administration program for the Public Health Department.

Authorized the chair to sign an amendment to the Health Research Inc. contract for the Public Health Department’s integrated cancer services program.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract for a physician consultant for the Public Health Department TB program.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract for pharmacist services for the Public Health Department.

Modified the 2012 Office for the Aging budget to provide for uninterrupted home care service.

Authorized the chair to sign the annual plan and applications for funding with the state Office for the Aging.

Modified the 2012 Community Services budget for one-time state aid funding from OASAS for North Country Freedom Homes.

Modified the 2012 Sheriff’s Office budget for overtime.

Modified the 2012 Sheriff’s Office budget to accept 2012 state criminal alien assistance program funding from the Office of Justice Programs.

Modified the 2012 Sheriff’s Office budget for various related expenses for the correctional division.

Modified the 2013 Sheriff’s Office budget to roll over remaining funds for interoperable communications equipment.

Modified the 2012 Sheriff’s Office budget to accept a 2013 Selective Traffic Enforcement Program grant from the governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.

Modified the 2012 Office of Emergency Services budget to accept reimbursement from SUNY Canton for the fire/hazmat emergency on Feb. 10, 2012.

Authorized the chair to sign memorandums of understanding to join the Central New York Region interoperable Communication Consortium.

Accepted the recommendations of the Management Compensation Committee for non-union graded and management employees regarding rescinding portions of Resolution No. 384-2005 related to the salary plan for county non-union graded and management employees and adopted a non-union salary schedule.

Authorized the filling of an assistant conflict defender position in the Office of the Conflict Defender.

Approved 2013 apportionments for elections, real property and community college costs.

Charged tax items to towns.

Approved a standard federal aid highway and Marchiselli aid project supplemental agreement for design, right-of-way, construction, inspection and support of County Route 14 over the Oswegatchie River.

Modified the 2012 budget for the Solid Waste Department for repairs at Massena and Ogdensburg transfer stations.

Approved the issuance of tax-exempt revenue bonds by the county Industrial Development Agency Civic Development Corp. for St. Lawrence University.

Modified the 2012 budget for the Department of Social Services for increases costs and revenues.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract with the state Office of Indigent Legal Services for the provision of indigent legal services funds for the contract period of June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2015 and modified the 2012 indigent defense budget.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract with the state Defenders’ Association for the public defender case management system installation, maintenance, support and training.

Authorized the chair to sign an application for reimbursement of local enhanced wireless 911 program funds from the state Department of State for the Office of Emergency Services.

Established a standard work day for state retirement system reporting purposes.

Established 7 p.m. Jan. 2 for the organizational board meeting.

Authorized the chair to sign a contract for administration of the health care coverage plan.

Set 6:50 p.m. Jan. 2 for a public hearing on a proposed local law to establish salaries for certain county employees.

Authorized the chair to sign all documents for the closure of the county Certified Home Health Agency and Long-term Home Health Care program and transition all patients safely to another home care agency.

Authorized the plan of refinance for the Human Services facility leased by the county.

Appointed Pat Whalen, Potsdam; William Dashnaw, Waddington, and Kendall Lawrence, Canton, to the Environmental Management Council.

Reappointed David L. Doe, Canton; Dawn Howard, Colton; Donald O’Shea, Ogdensburg; Tom Cutter, Canton; Anne Heidenreich, Hermon; Roy Horst, Potsdam; Lance Rudiger, Canton, and Peter Skomsky, Massena, to the EMC.

Appointed Scott Sutherland, Pierrepont, to the county Traffic Safety Council.

Reappointed Mark C. Hall, Star Lake, to the county Industrial Development Agency.
