SANDY CREEK Thousand Islands rallied from an 11-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter to edge host Sandy Creek, 49-48, in a Frontier League C Division boys basketball game Tuesday night.
Reed Donnelly led the Vikings (2-1) with 19 points as they outscored the Comets 17-5 in the fourth quarter. Jacob Baldwin chipped in with 10 points for Thousand Islands.
Sandy Creek (0-2) had a chance to win the game, but missed a last-second shot. Zach Halsey scored 15 points for the Comets, and Cameron Hall had 13.
BEAVER RIVER 75, SOUTH LEWIS 42
Samuel Widrick scored a game-high 23 points and dished out five assists as the Beavers breezed to a C Division victory in Turin.
Alex Hall chipped in with 13 points and seven blocked shots for Beaver River (3-0, 2-0).
Jason Martin scored 14 points to pace the Falcons (0-3).
INDIAN RIVER 45, GENERAL BROWN 36
Shelton Williams finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and four steals to lead the Warriors (1-2) to a crossover victory at Dexter.
Austin Giruzzi scored nine points for General Brown (0-3).
APW 56, WATERTOWN 45
Baron Correll led the Rebels with 19 points, including four 3-pointers, as they beat the Cyclones in a crossover game in Parish.
Aaron Marshall added 16 points for Altmar-Parish-Willamstown (2-1).
Mason Phillps scored 14 points for Watertown (0-3, 0-1).
LYME 69, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 28
Troy Wilson scored 27 points and recorded 10 assists as the Indians routed the Panthers in a D Division game in Chaumont.
Timmy Morrow also had a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds for Lyme (3-0).
Mathieu Corron scored 10 points for Belleville Henderson (1-2).
ALEXANDRIA 62, LAFARGEVILLE 48
Nick Shangraw drained five 3-pointers en route to a career-high 27 points as the Purple Ghosts earned a D Division victory over the Red Knights in LaFargeville.
Ian Kearns added 14 points for Alexandria (1-2).
Eric Doolittle led LaFargeville (0-3) with 16 points.
INDIAN RIVER 44, GENERAL BROWN 20
Sarah Mattingly accounted for 10 points and four steals to spark the Warriors to a crossover victory at Philadelphia.
The game was to be played at the high school and the teams started their warm-ups there. But heavy rainfall and a leaky gym roof forced the game to be moved to the middle school.
Kammikia Barnes pulled down seven rebounds, and Katie Brierton made four steals for Indian River (2-0).
Katie Pitkin scored seven points for General Brown (0-2).
THOUSAND ISLANDS 51, SANDY CREEK 26
Kristin McGraw led all scorers with 20 points and also grabbed five rebounds as the Vikings cruised to a C Division victory in Clayton.
Alesha Waterman added 10 points and had five assists for Thousand Islands (3-0) and Erica Sullivan scored nine points and totaled five rebounds.
SOUTH LEWIS 24, BEAVER RIVER 12
Rachel Newell, Ronni Ehlers and Olivia Fitzgerald each scored five points for the Falcons (2-1) as they downed the Beavers in C Division play at Beaver Falls.
Abigail Cornell led all scorers with seven points for Beaver River (0-2).
COPENHAGEN 34, SACKETS HARBOR 25
Marinda Allen scored a game-high 12 points to pace the host Golden Knights to a D Division win at Copenhagen.
