Two motorists were ticketed and a child was injured Wednesday following a two-car collision on Ford Street.

Virginia G. Taylor, 28, of Jacksonville, Fla., was ticketed at 12:06 p.m. for improper front seat child restraint. Ogdensburg police said her 4-year-old daughter bumped her head on the vehicle dashboard and was treated at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center emergency room.

The other driver, Robin L. Greenley, 48, of 3355 County Route 6, Hammond, was issued a summons for failure to yield the right of way upon entering a roadway, police said.

Jamie K. Shaver II, 25, of 151 Belmont Courts, was arrested Wednesday at 10:48 a.m. on a city court bench warrant for failure to appear, city police said.

Cassie N. Remillard, 28, of 1030 Morris St., was arrested Wednesday at 9:52 a.m. on a St. Lawrence County Court bench warrant for revocation of probation, Ogdensburg police reported.

Courtney M. Barber, 20, of 815 Main St., was arrested Tuesday at 7:47 p.m. at Wal-Mart, 3000 Ford St. Extension, for petit larceny and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, city police said.
