POTSDAM — Village police ticketed two men with disorderly conduct for allegedly tampering with a “no parking” sign on Market Street over the weekend.

Simon C. Lyon, 19, Bennington, Vt., and Timothy C. Shepardson, 19, Syracuse, are accused of removing the sign from the ground shortly before 4:15 a.m. Sunday.

They are scheduled to appear in Potsdam Village Court.
