MASSENA The annual Salvation Army holiday auction will conclude today with a broadcast from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on 1340 WMSA.
Salvation Army Lt. Cynthia L. Crowsen said so far the auction, which began Tuesday, has raised more than $7,000, not including money raised Friday or today.
The auction, which was held this year at Ashleys Home Center, also serves as a toy drive. Lt. Crowsen said large donations came from the SeaComm Credit Union, Trinity School, Massena Nursery School and the Massena Red Raiders wrestling team.
As for the auction, Lt. Crowsen said many of the bigger ticket items will be sold today. Items include a pair of round-trip Cape Air tickets to Albany, a two-hour limousine ride, a blue sapphire ring from Peets Jewelers, a room painting gift certificate from TMV Construction, $230 in wood pellets from Curran Renewables, a gift certificate for a furnace cleaning from Econo Fuels and a $500 Ashleys gift certificate.
